ARTIFEX 2017-2020
Erasmus+ 2017: 2017-1-BE02-KA201-034714

The main focus of the ARTIFEX project is STEM education in an innovative learning environment outside the classroom. The project aims to teach students to solve problems using interdisciplinary tools offered by public centers such as FabLabs and Makerspaces with free access to high-tech production equipment. The teachers and trainers in these centers have a key role to play in this process, which must have the necessary competencies to carry out STEM training effectively. The ultimate result of the ARTIFEX project is an interactive open e-learning platform for teachers, teacher trainers and STEM trainers. It will have access to an online self-assessment tool, structured around the key skills needed in the STEM training process. The platform will also be able to use an online tool for the subsequent professional development of those competencies in which the self-assessment tool has shown weaknesses. The platform will be a place where teachers and trainers will be able to interact with each other and share their experience in STEM training for students in schools and centers such as FabLabs, Makerspaces, Hackspace and others.

NTCenter’s partners in this project are organisations from Belgium, Greece, Italy, Czech Republic and Sweden
